At the heart of the Alpilles, the monumental Carrières des Lumières host the new immersive exhibitions: "Egyptian Pharaohs: from Cheops to Ramesses II" and "The Orientalists, Ingres, Delacroix, Gérôme..." from 19 April 2024. They also present extracts from the “Testament d’Orphée”, a movie shot by Jean Cocteau in 1959 in the quarries.
